The Sustainable and Interoperable Digital Identity (SIDI) Summit, held in Paris November 28th 2023, was convened with a critical mission:
- to bring global stakeholders towards a common understanding of the complexities of cross-border digital identity interoperability in a world that is increasingly interconnected yet diverse in its regulatory and cultural landscapes
- to affirm consensus from the global community in favor of a shared approach and roadmap to drive cross-border digital identity interoperability
Who Participated & Sponsored

The Summit included 120 experts from different domains of the global digital identity community. This group provided a good cross-section of voices for this first global conversation.
For the protection of all participating individuals and organizations, the summit was conducted under the Chatham House Rule, so no names or organizations are referenced unless explicitly permitted.

Findings & Report
At the conclusion of the Summit, 92% of participants voted “yes†in the Exit Poll that they believe this work needs to continue into 2024. As a result, Summit participant feedback on the most promising tactics discussed during the Summit will drive the 2024 SIDI strategy.
