The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is organizing a workshop on Designing the trust management for Agentic AI taking place on 9 July 2026, from 09h00-13h00 hours CEST at AI4Good, Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland.
What happens when AI can act on its own, and how can we secure it?
This workshop examines the growing security and privacy challenges associated with Agentic AI, with a focus on practical, standards driven responses. Participants will explore how industry security mechanisms and protocols can be applied within Agentic AI systems, alongside approaches to risk management and threat mitigation. The session will highlight the importance of standardization and regulatory alignment in strengthening trust and resilience across AI deployments. It will also identify priorities for future research and real world implementation. It will showcase the contributions of ITU’s Study Group 17 to AI security standardization and generate concrete inputs for the AI for Good plenary, helping shape key security recommendations for the evolving Agentic AI landscape.
