SIDI Hub is building a Digital Commons for Digital Identity so that governments and ecosystems have robust, trustworthy, and openly available tools at their disposal when designing their own public infrastructure. Over 2024, the community has held discussions on 4 continents and brought government practitioners and policy-makers together with identity experts, international organizations, academia, and more.
At ID4Africa, we will invite collaborators to review last year’s findings and co-create requirements for a Digital Commons.
- Use Cases for a Digital Commons: Findings and requirements for a Digital Commons.
- Governing Credentials & Ecosystems: Establishing trust and common rules across borders.
- Architectures: An analysis of how multiple architectures can interoperate.
- Bridging the Gaps: A roadmap of resources and tools for the Digital Commons.
Together, we will enhance our shared roadmap towards safe, interoperable, digital identity infrastructure.
