Join us at the “Trustable and interoperable digital Identities for Human and Agentic AI” Workshop (2) organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is organizing a workshop on “Global interoperability for trust management of digital identity for humans and agents” taking place on 2 June 2026, from 09h00-18h00 hours CEST at ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.​​

The workshop will be organized alongside the meeting of ITU-T StudyGroup 17​, Security, 1-10 June 2026 (see TSB Collective 8/17).​

Objectives
The objectives of this workshop will be to:

  • Identify key security and governance challenges specific to trust management of Humans digital identities and Agentic AI digital identities;
  • ​Facilitate cross-stakeholder consensus on core requirements for trust management standardization spanning humans and AI agents;
  • Investigate actionable recommendations and consolidated insights to advance standardization work in the field.​

Target audience

​​Participation is free of charge and open to all interested stakeholders including ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU and who wishes to contribute to the work.
Remote participation will be provided.​
